One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Parole Carole was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Glorious Rocket sprinted to the front. Zumbagirl was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Parole Carole sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Ojsan Ickevinnare galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Parole Carole followed by Glorious Rocket and Fifi La Mimi. Lane two Voorkeur Schilder followed by Ojsan Ickevinnare and Zumbagirl.




Parole Carole sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Voorkeur Schilder suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Voorkeur Schilder didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
