One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Moon Montana. Strong Star ended up behind the leader. Criminal Tw got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Polkamp suddenly started to galop. Bob McClure had to struggle to get Polkamp to tror again and succeded after 40 m. When the startcar left the field Wondering Diva started to galop and lost 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Striking Cobra sprinted to the front.




Orton sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Wondering Diva was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Striking Cobra was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Orton followed by Criminal Tw and Strong Star. Lane two Polkamp followed by Powerful Dribbler and Wondering Diva. Cream showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Orton didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Wondering Diva gallopped 10 m after 2000m. Kiwi Lore was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Orton were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Criminal Tw made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Polkamp.
