One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Vanheden Superior could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Dribbling Bandwagon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. The leader got disturbed by something and Nessla Oogum Boogum took the lead rather easily. Nessla Oogum Boogum was still in the lead after 1500m. Nessla Oogum Boogum sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Gabetti won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
