One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Crossing Lilac. Athalie ended up behind the leader. Sleepy Vixen got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Skipping Cocktail was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Athalie sprinted to the front. The leader got disturbed by something and Sleepy Vixen took the lead rather easily. Sleepy Vixen was still in the lead after 1500m. Sleepy Vixen sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Teulère showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Sleepy Vixen kept the speed the whole finish and won before Athalie and Crossing Lilac. Results
