One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chesnaught took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Achtereekte started to galop and lost 20 m.




Striking Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Chesnaught sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Chesnaught followed by Brolin and Helpful Legend. Lane two Kamal Khan Lore followed by Potenz Benutzer and Achtereekte.




Chesnaught was still in the lead after 2000m.



Chesnaught sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Potenz Benutzer sprinted over the finishline before Kamal Khan Lore and Chesnaught.
