One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waving Runaway tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Pommard that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Waving Runaway sprinted to the front.




Waving Runaway clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Pommard looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Pommard sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Pommard were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Waving Runaway won. Pommard came in second. Punching Scope caught third place.
