One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Coffee Café tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Carlos Rocky that came steaming ahead. Expensive Lilac was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Coffee Café started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Punching Runner sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Eccentric who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Kvarngärdets Bold Marigold looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Expensive Lilac couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Runner.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Punching Runner today. It continued in the lead. Carlos Rocky started to gallop after 1500m and Ole-Christian Kjenner had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Punching Runner kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Kvarngärdets Bold Marigold was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Beppe Cherry won. Punching Runner came in second. Coffee Café caught third place.
