One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Whispering Electra tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Windy Box that came steaming ahead. Michael Nimczyk wanted a little to much in the start and Whispering Electra galoped for 10 m. Amabel was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

Striking Whirlwind sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Striking Whirlwind today. It continued in the lead.



Striking Whirlwind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Striking Whirlwind kept the speed the whole finish and won before Windy Box and Goodbye Holly.
