It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Third Nipple was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Third Nipple was in fine shape and held the lead. Gella galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Au Contraire took the lead after 1000m. Third Nipple didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.



Minette Du Lilas took the lead after 1000m. Third Nipple didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Minette Du Lilas kept the speed the whole finish and won before Au Contraire and Third Nipple.
