It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Smiling Thinker found a gap and took the lead. Pampered Fiesta followed before Ganz Klein.

This is the positions after 500m. Sound Of Victory, Antofalla, Itchy Ironclaw Law, Pampered Fiesta, Shining Love, Ont Près Soie, Hit The North, Smiling Thinker.

The leader got disturbed by something and Itchy Ironclaw Law took the lead rather easily. Hit The North was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Itchy Ironclaw Law followed by Smiling Thinker and Ganz Klein. Lane two Sound Of Victory followed by Indiana Jones Snakes Law and Ont Près Soie. Pampered Fiesta started to gallop after 1500m and Jesper Rydberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Itchy Ironclaw Law sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Indiana Jones Snakes Law speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Ganz Klein sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
