Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Vaggeryd track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Nova could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Purple Nova started to galop and lost 50 m.




Reach Out quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Purple Nova looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Foka Föffaan couldn't come out from behind the leader, Reach Out.

Reach Out didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
