One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pignotti could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Magic Sunshine saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Magic Sunshine today. It continued in the lead.



Magic Sunshine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
