Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pointing Venus. Flickering Brightness ended up behind the leader. Dombi got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Guus clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Flickering Brightness saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Dombi showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Carla Larockma gallopped for 20 m.



Irritating Sound was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Flickering Brightness kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Flickering Brightness kept the speed the whole finish and won before Guus and Medina Garrigues.
