The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lying News found a gap and took the lead. Cleveland Brownie followed before Broken Hope.




Dawana quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Ti Amo took the lead after 1000m. Lying News didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ti Amo followed by Lying News and Broken Hope. Lane two Cleveland Brownie followed by Dawana and Olsen.




Cleveland Brownie took the lead.



Cleveland Brownie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Lying News sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
