It had been raining for several days at Umåker but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lakitu Cherry sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Bendover Baby quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Apex Predator Superior started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Giulia took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Giulia today. It continued in the lead. Lakitu Cherry started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Wikström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Giulia looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Belle De Jour was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Giulia kept the speed the whole finish and won before Red Hope and Bendover Baby.
