The weather had been good all week and Lieksa was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Guapa sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
Guapa was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.
Sad Hyena looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Uncivilized couldn't come out from behind the leader, Guapa.
Uncivilized accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Uncivilized kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Pink Love was first on the homestretch followed by Kamal Khan Lore and Uncivilized.
Uncivilized won the race after a spectacular finish.
