The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Giulia was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Canzoni Stonate galloped way to long and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Shadow Dancer started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Church Of Our Lady sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Achtereekte who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Shadow Dancer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Shadow Dancer followed by Love Religion and Giulia. Lane two Holy Oxzygo followed by Sleepy Jewel and Cream. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Canzoni Stonate gallopped for 20 m.

Shadow Dancer didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Holy Oxzygo speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Holy Oxzygo kept the speed the whole finish and won before Shadow Dancer and Sleepy Jewel.
