The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Maribor this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Drooling Printer was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Green Screen Lore, Quasimodo Hof, Van Den Hoogenband Superior, Sagittarius, Valley Oxzygo, Drooling Printer, Carlos Platinum, Hogan Ink.

Quasimodo Hof looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Carlos Platinum couldn't come out from behind the leader, Green Screen Lore.

Quasimodo Hof looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Valley Oxzygo litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sagittarius galop. Sagittarius lost 50 m.

Crossing Midnight made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Valley Oxzygo.
