The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Mr Head. Powerful Blast ended up behind the leader. Stepping Passion got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Fast Tiger showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




This is the positions after 500m. Bird Parker, Powerful Blast, Stepping Passion, Vasili, Darling Delight, Mr Head, Fast Tiger, .




Vasili sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Mr Head looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Mr Head sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Stepping Passion, 2 Mr Head, 3 Bird Parker.
