Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Brodde Star took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Lying Sunray, Malkin Brightness, Mácha, Salama, Svenne Opal, Abstract, Brodde Star, Dead Sound.

Malkin Brightness sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Mácha looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Dead Sound gallopped for 40 m. Salama started to gallop after 1500m and David Grundman had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Dead Sound galoped for 50 m. Malkin Brightness litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Anders Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Jumping Tiger started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Abstract made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Malkin Brightness.
