The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. High Jumping Jack found a gap and took the lead. Frankels Law followed before Turning Wardrobe. This is the positions after 500m. Xpert, Portable Printer, Cute Crystal, Turning Wardrobe, Angwen, Frankels Law, High Jumping Jack, Sly Runner. Sly Runner was disturbed and galoped 10 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Turning Wardrobe took the lead rather easily. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Turning Wardrobe today. It continued in the lead. Frankels Law galloped for 30 m. Angwen galloped for 50 m. Turning Wardrobe sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Cute Crystal gallopped 20 m after 2000m. Xpert speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Xpert kept the speed the whole finish and won before Turning Wardrobe and High Jumping Jack. Results
