The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Papecio Pegasos tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Apache Rebel that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Maximum Box, Rebel Patriot, Negroni, Apache Rebel, Papecio Pegasos, Muscular Satellite, Nihilisten Ameste, . Muscular Satellite started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Nihilisten Ameste started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Maximum Box was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Maximum Box was still in the lead after 1500m. Negroni galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Rebel Patriot suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Papecio Pegasos won the race after a spectacular finish.
