It had been raining for several days at Momarken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Athalie sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Athalie was still in the lead after 2000m.



Athalie kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Equites Legati galop. Equites Legati lost 40 m.




Maximum Motor never caught up with Athalie who won. Equites Legati came third.
