It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Hard Night found a gap and took the lead. Chiappa followed before Jérémy. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Hard Night was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Jérémy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Chiappa was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Jérémy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Chiappa sprinted over the finishline before Gustave Eiffel and Hard Night. Results
