Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adelante sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Kim Eriksson wanted a little to much in the start and Alberta Opal galoped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Alberta Opal sprinted to the front.




Alberta Opal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Adelante accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Adelante were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Alberta Opal won. Miss Big Balubas came in second. Adelante caught third place.
