The sun was shining on Jägersro and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bakaxel Opal was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Relaxing Platinum started to galop and lost 40 m.

Criminal Dead Comet saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Punching Runner sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Helpful Agent galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Bakaxel Opal looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Punching Runner was first on the homestretch followed by Bakaxel Opal and Jennifer Lore.

Dwight Pieters tried a little too much on the homestretch and Relaxing Platinum started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Bakaxel Opal made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Honourable Crusher.
