One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Fair Mambo took the lead after a very quick start. Frankels Law quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Narkissos Timashow took the lead after 1000m. Wicked Wipe didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Narkissos Timashow was still in the lead after 1500m. Narkissos Timashow were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Fair Mambo made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Narkissos Timashow.
