One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rafaela Vidi could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Għant saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Militarius took the lead rather easily.




Għant saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Għant didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. When In Rome galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Militarius was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Għant were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Għant kept the speed the whole finish and won before Running Sergeant and Rafaela Vidi.
