One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Headhunter found a gap and took the lead. Lenglen followed before Françoise.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Frozen Lion started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Lenglen took the lead rather easily. Françoise suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Headhunter looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Lenglen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Françoise was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Lenglen kept the speed the whole finish and won before Headhunter and Frozen Lion.
