One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Schwerin Ad Ameste was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Sharp Goaltender looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Loving Diary couldn't come out from behind the leader, Hard Knight.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Hard Knight today. It continued in the lead.



Hard Knight looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Hard Knight galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Quilly Du Marais won the race after a spectacular finish.
