One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





African Sky tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Nessla Kool Thing that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Travelling Daffodil started to galop and lost 10 m.




Nessla Kool Thing was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Active Dribbler who started to galop and lost 20 m.




African Sky looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Edgy Diary couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nessla Kool Thing.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nessla Kool Thing followed by Edgy Diary and Advanced Crusher. Lane two African Sky followed by Dorothée and Active Dribbler. Advanced Crusher started to gallop after 1500m and Oskar Kylin-Blom had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Nessla Kool Thing looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






African Sky never caught up with Nessla Kool Thing who won. Edgy Diary came third.
