The weather had been good all week and Karlshamn was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Powerful Blast sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Peter Ingves wanted a little to much in the start and Tremendous Empire galoped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Light Technology sprinted to the front. Powerful Blast galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Tremendous Empire looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Listening Blizzard couldn't come out from behind the leader, Light Technology.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light Technology followed by Listening Blizzard and . Lane two Tremendous Empire followed by Powerful Blast and . Something caused a disturbance in the field and Listening Blizzard gallopped for 20 m.



Light Technology kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Powerful Blast galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Final standings. 1 Tremendous Empire, 2 Light Technology, 3 Listening Blizzard.
