One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Forest was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Maximum Box started to galop and lost 10 m.




Fer À Cheval quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Malkin Vitto took the lead after 1000m. Fer À Cheval didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Malkin Vitto followed by Smiling Forest and Gonzo Bill. Lane two Fer À Cheval followed by Sjufyrasju Ameste and Schuimend Ruit.



Malkin Vitto sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
