It had been raining for several days at Färjestad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Max Puma sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Rocking Tiger, Max Puma, Seductive Motor, Kvarngärdets Appietto, Bellender Hund, Funkhousers Law, Desiderare Ballerino, Reach Out. A bird flew just in front of Homer Lore who started to galop and lost 30 m. Reach Out was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Kvarngärdets Appietto took the lead after 1000m. Max Puma didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Kvarngärdets Appietto followed by Desiderare Ballerino and Homer Lore. Lane two Funkhousers Law followed by Max Puma and Seductive Motor.



Kvarngärdets Appietto were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Kristian Lindberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Bellender Hund started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Max Puma won the race after a spectacular finish.
