Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Asteroid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Speeding Paladin saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Strong General sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Strong General followed by Frozen Asteroid and Kvarngärdets Brave Marigold. Lane two Heavy Movement followed by Zkatan and Speeding Paladin.



Heavy Movement speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
