It had been raining for several days at Oviken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Thought sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Helaine was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




Classy Survivor quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Lafrenière started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Falling Thought took the lead rather easily.

Blazing Comet made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Lafrenière.
