The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adalicia found a gap and took the lead. Goofy Pony followed before Insane Starlight.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Whispering Lipstick sprinted to the front.




Whispering Lipstick was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Whispering Lipstick was still in the lead after 1500m.




Bernice took the lead.



Bernice was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Adalicia litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Insane Starlight won the race after a spectacular finish.
