The sun was shining on Eskilstuna and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Calming Lizard. Tropical Orchid ended up behind the leader. Grande Fierté got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Strong General was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Van Rijsselberghe looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Van Rijsselberghe didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Van Rijsselberghe were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
