One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bernita could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Cutler Websters Law saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Just Wait took the lead after 1000m. Cutler Websters Law didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Jolly Lemon was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Just Wait followed by Bernita and Sophisticated Dancer. Lane two Cutler Websters Law followed by Walking Necklace and Jumping Bandwagon.



Just Wait kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
