One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Space Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Mikael Halvarsson wanted a little to much in the start and Sophisticated Breeze galoped for 50 m.

Esel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Get The Idol who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Véronique looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Nessla Quadratisch couldn't come out from behind the leader, Esel. Flordalie suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Space Star was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Esel was still in the lead after 1500m.

Esel didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Esel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Winner of todays race was Esel. Véronique came in second. Nessla Quadratisch became third.
