It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Peroteaux sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Criminal Bouquet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Big Muscle started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Criminal Bouquet was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Peroteaux galoped for 20 m. Criminal Bouquet was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Criminal Bouquet didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
