The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Narkissos Rödin. Sleepy Flower ended up behind the leader. Opposing Sunset got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Opposing Sunset saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Néoarchéen sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Sophisticated Blossom galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Flower Glitter accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Brisade gallopped for 40 m. Flower Glitter didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Flower Glitter looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Final standings. 1 Opposing Sunset, 2 Sleepy Flower, 3 Narkissos Rödin. Results
