One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Curieux could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Gameiro galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Curieux was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Romantic Drama saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Pointing Thinker gallopped for 40 m.




Romantic Drama didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Gameiro galloped way to long and was disqualified. Romantic Drama kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Romantic Drama. Sliding Gladiator came in second. Curieux became third.
