One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Afroman was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Mr Torpedo showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Adelante showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
Kiedis Mohawk saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Wondering Diary sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Afroman was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Cotton Eye Joe galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Frode Hamre tried a little too much on the homestretch and Victory Speed started to galopp and lost 20 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Mr Torpedo galop. Mr Torpedo lost 50 m.
