Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wimpy Crystal took the lead after a very quick start. Wimpy Crystal was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fighting Boy sprinted to the front.




Esel sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Nessla Queen Cosmos showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Feuer In Mir was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Ticking Sun looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Wimpy Crystal gallopped for 20 m.



Ticking Sun sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Esel won the race after a spectacular finish.
