One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jolly Whirlwind was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Jolly Whirlwind was in fine shape and held the lead.




Brenzo took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Whirlwind didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Jolly Whirlwind looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Brenzo suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Jolly Whirlwind never caught up with Brenzo who won. Running Sergeant came third.
