One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Lightning Star. Walking Necklace ended up behind the leader. African Trapdoor Spider got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




African Trapdoor Spider saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Walking Necklace took the lead after 1000m. African Trapdoor Spider didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




African Trapdoor Spider looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

African Trapdoor Spider were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Lightning Star made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before African Trapdoor Spider.
