It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Deborgies tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cesare that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Criminal Bouquet sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Criminal Bouquet today. It continued in the lead.



Criminal Bouquet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Criminal Bouquet. Deborgies came in second. Cesare became third.
