One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Halmstad Pegasos could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Running Nova, Lucky Tropic, Sophisticated Heat, Halmstad Pegasos, Voodoo Dice, Whispering Lipstick, Floating Sunshine, Blossoming Sparkle. Blossoming Sparkle started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Running Nova clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Blossoming Sparkle showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Whispering Lipstick accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Whispering Lipstick looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Running Nova never caught up with Whispering Lipstick who won. Halmstad Pegasos came third.
