The sun was shining on Solvalla today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cherry Blossom took the lead after a very quick start. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and Françoise galoped for 20 m.




Walküre Hof quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Oddly Satisfying took the lead after 1000m. Cherry Blossom didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Oddly Satisfying followed by Scarlet Diamond and Networq. Lane two Cherry Blossom followed by Walküre Hof and Just Curious.



Networq was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Oddly Satisfying looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Networq made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Cherry Blossom.
